Why we wander
Some days the world feels enormous. The news is loud, the list is long, and everyone else seems to know the way. Thinklery is for those days.
The world can be pretty big, wonder in the little things together.
That's all of it, really. When everything feels too big, look at something small. A Moon that shows the same face every night. A little dinosaur with famously short arms. Look at it with someone, and the big world gets a little softer.
It started with a drawing
When NASA approached our founder, Jarrod Chua, to buy his educational space artwork for its public outreach, the story travelled the world, from Singapore to Malaysia, Europe and the United States. That moment sparked the birth of Thinklery.
He kept drawing. The planets got faces, the faces got names, and the names needed somewhere to live. So he drew them a map, and put a castle at the start of it.
Today our wonders sit on the shelves of Science Centre Singapore, the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum, Changi Airport and Petrosains. And astronaut Jeffrey Williams, who has spent 534 days in space, walks with us as our ambassador.
A map that never ends
Every wonder comes home from somewhere. Here are a few of the places on the trail.
Made to be held
Every wonder is soft enough to hug on a hard day and small enough to come along on a good one. And each one comes from a real planet or dinosaur, with true things to tell you about it, for the days you need reminding that the world is wondrous.
You're not wandering alone
Anyone who looks up and asks why belongs on this map. Meet the wanderers who walk a little ahead.
Take a little wonder home
Find the planet that has been waiting for you, or wander the shop and see who wants to come home with you.
