How we measure

Tape out, clip off

In the castle we measure a wonder the way a mapmaker measures a hill: the plush itself, across its widest part, with a cloth tape. The clip and the ring stay out of it, so nothing ever sounds bigger than it is.

Each one is sewn by hand, so yours may come out half a centimetre either way. We think that is part of the charm.
