Why my tail ends in a club

My tail ends in a thick club of bone. Ankylosaurs like me probably swung ours at anything that came too close, and the rest of me is wrapped in flat bony plates, so very few came close twice.

These days I mostly swing it at pebbles, slowly. Armour outside, very soft inside. Long day? Same. Sit with me a minute.
